You might recognize here the marble cake recipe. This time instead of making a marble cake, we used the chocolate batter to make a cat shape and inserted it in the vanilla batter to get this cute cake, perfect for anyone who loves cats.
This type of cake requires more time than usual because there is resting time in the freezer. For the shapes, you can use a cookie cutter or cut the shapes with a sharp knife. But we assure you it's worth it, especially for a special occasion.

Chocolate Cake
*Use a knife to ensure the cake is baked, the knife should come out clean & dry.*
*If you can't get the cake out of parchment paper easily or it's too soft to be cut properly, refrigerate for 30 min.*
*you can place to a freezer for 30 min - 1 hour to ensure it is cooled enough.
* To cut the shapes you can either use a cookie cutter or a knife and a pattern to always cut the same shape (use parchment paper to make the pattern).*Don't discard leftovers of chocolate cake, it will keep well in a container and is a very moist chocolate cake, perfect at anytime of the day!*
