If you have regular pecans and want to turn them into candied pecans, it’s actually pretty easy! And you can do it on a pan, no need to bake into the oven.

Preparation

  1. In a pan, over medium fire, add brown sugar, pinch of salt and cinnamon.
  2. Add some water to make a caramel kind of base.
  3. Add the pecans for few minutes - turn them to ensure they are candied everywhere.
  4. Let rest for few minutes on parchment paper or silicon mat.
